Catering Policy
How catering works at Guarapo’s — what we need from you, what you get from us, and what is confirmed in writing before anything is charged.
Booking
Catering is booked directly with the restaurant — call (561) 752-0272 or send the form on our catering page. Tell us your date, headcount, venue and budget, and we will confirm whether we can cover it.
Dates are not held until we confirm them back to you. The more notice you can give us the better, particularly for weekends and holidays — call to check availability for your specific date.
Menus and Dietary Needs
Every event is different, so our catering menus are customizable. We will build a menu around your event, your headcount and your budget, and we can accommodate vegetarian and lighter options on request.
If anyone in your party has a food allergy, tell us when you book rather than on the day. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, fish and shellfish, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from cross-contact.
Quotes and Payment
You will receive a written quote before anything is prepared or charged. The quote sets out the menu, the headcount it is priced for, and any delivery or service charge, so there are no surprise line items afterwards.
Deposit requirements, accepted payment methods and the balance due date are confirmed in writing as part of that quote. Nothing is charged before you approve it.
Headcounts and Changes
Your quote is priced for a specific headcount. If your numbers move, tell us as early as you can — we can usually adjust, but food is ordered and prepped ahead, so late changes are not always possible. The date by which we need your final count is confirmed when you book.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or move your event, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including anything already committed to your order, are set out in your written quote.
Pick Up and Delivery
Catering orders can be collected from 1795 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, or delivered. Delivery availability for your venue, along with any delivery charge, is confirmed in your quote — see our delivery policy for how everyday delivery works.
Food Safety
Hot food is prepared to be served promptly. Once it has been delivered or collected, safe holding, reheating and storage are the customer’s responsibility. There is a risk associated with consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood or eggs.
